The nation’s leading Asian grocery retailer opens in American Dream Mall

H-Mart is the go-to destination for all things Korean. With over 100 locations worldwide, the chain has become the leading name in Asian grocers. The titan’s newest location is in none other than American Dream. It is New Jersey’s ninth H Mart location.

From its humble beginnings in Woodside, Queens, H Mart has become the country’s largest Asian supermarket chain. Since its opening in 1982, the company has added 97 stores across the US. Additionally, H Mart has been headquartered in Lyndhurst, NJ since 1998. Bergen County became the perfect location for H Mart to headquarter as the county has the highest Korean population percentage across the entire country (6.9 percent).

Like the other locations, H Mart at American Dream will offer a full range of Asian foods, fresh produce, Western groceries and an expansive food hall. The chain offers everything from frozen dumplings and Korean BBQ to imported fruits, instant noodles, household items and more.

Today, H Mart stands as one of the nation’s fastest growing retailers and the addition of NJ’s ninth location comes as no surprise. The demand for a high-quality Asian grocer is there and H Mart at American Dream is a welcome addition to the already fast-growing mall.

H Mart is located at Court A Level 1 in American Dream and you can find out more about the exciting new addition here.
