We ventured out to Long Branch’s vibrant Pier Village, where we were immediately captivated by its charming shops and delightful restaurants. Although the club does not provide parking, we easily found a nearby garage, albeit at $30 for the entire day.
Traversing through Avenue Le Club—an exquisite French beachfront restaurant—we made our way to The Beach Club. Guided along a sandy path adorned with palm trees and inviting turquoise lounge chairs, we arrived at our personal cabana. Inside, we discovered an inviting daybed, a convenient mini fridge, and a cozy back room featuring a private shower and changing area.
Our delightful waitress promptly brought us plush towels for our lounge chairs and graciously took our lunch order. I relished the flavors of a mouthwatering avocado toast accompanied by grilled asparagus, roasted heirloom tomatoes, and pickled red onions. We enjoyed a smoked salmon sandwich, generously layered with crème fraiche on a freshly baked bagel, accompanied by a side of golden-brown, crisp French fries. The menu also boasted an array of other sandwiches, salads to choose from. Among its best offerings was the raw bar, featuring fresh oysters, shrimp, and clams.

As we made our way to the restaurant’s interior, we were captivated by the petite yet opulent rooftop pool. From its elevated vantage point, we marveled at breathtaking vistas of the coastline and Long Branch itself. Complete with comfortable lounge chairs, an inviting fire pit, and a nearby indoor lounge with a well-stocked bar, the rooftop pool provided an idyllic setting for relaxation. While currently closing at 6 p.m., they now offer a rooftop lounge where you can extend your day and visit for a nice night out with a beautiful ocean view.
The Beach Club at Avenue operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., ensuring ample time to bask in the sun-kissed splendor until September 4. Additionally, members receive a wristband granting access to the public beach, allowing for a seamless transition between exclusive luxury and the lively shore. They also offer a DJ on various days to enhance the experience while basking in the sun.
