1) Georgia Aquarium 

The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the entire world. A visit to this amazing attraction allows you to explore more than 200,000 aquatic animals and plants. This is the perfect place to take the entire family, offering attractions for all ages. 

2) World of Coca-Cola 

The world of Coca-Cola provides an exciting look at the history of one of the world’s most beloved brands. This is one of the most popular Atlanta things to do since the attraction has something for everyone. The museum takes visitors through a journey of Coca-Cola history, from its origins to the present day. Upon finishing this tour, guests can even enjoy a refreshing sip of Coca-Cola!

3) High Museum of Art 

The High Museum of Art is one of the top art museums in America. This museum offers a wide range of different exhibits, from modern and contemporary art to African-American artwork. Also, the High Museum is the only art museum in the United States that has a permanent collection of works from both Picasso and Matisse.

4) Centennial Olympic Park 

Centennial Olympic Park was built to commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympics. This park is one of Atlanta’s most popular attractions, celebrating good times and great memories! While there, experience the thrill of a zip line, ride on a paddleboat, or simply enjoy a beautiful day.

5) Fox Theatre

7) Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park

The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park is a museum that commemorates the life and accomplishments of one of America’s most important civil rights leaders. This park offers exhibits and programs that give an in-depth look at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy and the issues of segregation and discrimination during his lifetime. You can also explore the historic buildings where Dr. King stayed while he fought for equal rights as well as his birth home and final resting place.

8) Zoo Atlanta 

Zoo Atlanta is one of the top attractions in Atlanta, where you can learn more about over 800 different species. The Zoo features many endangered animals that are native to Georgia, along with some exotic animals from around the world. Upon entry, guests receive a map of the zoo that tells them what each animal location is, allowing everyone to explore at their own pace!

The Center for Puppetry Arts is one of the top attractions in Atlanta because it explores the art of puppetry.
