A new luxury hotel is being built right on the Wildwood boardwalk—and it’s on track to open in time for the 2026 shore season.
The Wild Resort, a five-story boutique hotel rising at 3000 Boardwalk, is expected to be ready for guests by late spring or early summer. Developers say the project remains on schedule as it moves through the middle stages of construction.
Upon completion, the Jersey Shore luxury hotel will span roughly 77,000 square feet on one of the busiest stretches of boardwalk in not just New Jersey, but the entire U.S.
The resort includes 75 guest rooms, including 10 presidential suites, each with a private outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the beach. The design features a coastal vibe, using soft tones and textures inspired by the Wildwood shoreline.
The rooftop is one of the biggest draws, housing a pool, restaurant, and bar with breathtaking views of the ocean and bustling boardwalk. The ground floor will spill out directly onto the boardwalk with a Starbucks, candy store, and a pizzeria. Ground floor stores are open to hotel guests and passing visitors alike. The Wild Resort will also feature a state-of-the-art fitness center and a gift shop stocked with Wildwood clothing and memorabilia.
The building’s vertical design was done intentionally to allow each room ample natural light and ocean views. Meaning no matter where you book in The Wild Resort, you can bet on having something nice to look at. The central location allows for an elevated stay while keeping close access to Wildwood’s many attractions.
If construction stays on pace, The Wild Resort could begin welcoming guests as early as May, just in time for the start of the summer rush.
