Sweet Jersey corn, peak-season tomatoes, crisp beer—these are some of my favorite things, and this weekend you can experience a summer festival that celebrates them all right here in New Jersey. Flemington’s Corn, Tomato & Beer Festival is back this Saturday, and for the first time, it’s taking over Historic Main Street.
The event is completely free, open to all ages, and runs from noon to 8 p.m. on August 8. A rain date is set for August 22. Organizers are expecting a packed event—estimates range between 9,000 and 12,000 attendees, with more than 140 vendors lining Main Street between Capner and Fulper streets.
The centerpiece of the festival is the beer. A dedicated beer tent—with Flemington Borough Fire Department working the taps—sets up in front of the courthouse, serving cold beer exclusively from Hunterdon County Beer Trail breweries, plus wine and spirits vendors rounding out the drink lineup.
To pair with your beverages, more than 20 food trucks will dish out festival staples, alongside food offerings that feature the season’s abundance of corn and tomatoes. Two stages will run live music throughout the day, shifting from mellow afternoon sets to higher-energy performances by evening.
Vendors line Main Street all day, and the Hunterdon 579 Trail area gives attendees a chance to learn about local farms, markets, wineries, and businesses in the region.
New This Year: A VIP Experience
For the first time, the festival is offering a VIP experience for $45 per person, limited to 400 tickets sold separately.
Running from 2 to 6 p.m. at Courthouse Square Plaza, VIP access includes a four-beer flight with souvenir cups, a tomato tasting co-hosted by NOFA and the Hunterdon 579 Trail, a spirits tasting from Luscious Spirits Craft Distillery, wine from Angelico Winery, private restroom access, a tote bag of extra goodies, and more.
There are only a few VIP tickets left.

Parking is available in county lots, with a free shuttle running throughout the day.
The event is family- and pet-friendly—dogs must remain leashed at all times. Anyone drinking alcohol will require a valid ID, drink tickets are sold on-site only. Parents looking for a kid-friendly option can register in advance for the Chirp Workshop drop-off activity near the festival’s south entrance at 160 Main St.
