The national tour of the Bacon and Beer Classic is coming to the Harborside Terminal of Jersey City this upcoming fall, and is sure to please the metropolitan crowd with unlimited bacon-centered dishes from 25+ restaurants, 65+ styles of all-you-can drink craft beer, music games and more.
Not only is the Thursday, October 3rd date of the tour the first being held in New Jersey, the Jersey City community has also chosen NJ’s coolest new venue, the Harborside Terminal (210 Hudson Street) as the place for bacon and beer enthusiasts to explore all things delicious. What makes the Harborside venue so appealing is the sweeping glass atrium overlooking the Hudson River, which afford guests the opportunity to enjoy all the bacon and beer one can handle, while overlooking the iconic Manhattan skyline.
Coinciding with Oktoberfest, this event is a place for beer enthusiasts to hone their craft and explore new styles of craft beers and ciders from New Jersey-based brewers including Hackensack Brewing, Hokkaido Brewery, and Bolero Snort Brewery (to name a few). As far as food, New Jersey eateries including Queen’s Bully, Sands Jerk Hut, Marcha Cocina, and Jase’s BBQ are confirmed to bring the heat this fall. While tasting various beers and artisan dishes from around the state, ticket holders are invited to vote for their favorite restaurant and brewery using the Bacon and Beer Classic app. Winners of the contest will be crowned at the end of the event.
The Bacon and Beer Classic tour is produced by Cannonball Productions, owned and operated by Jersey City resident Kate Levenstien. The increasingly popular event sells out in professional sports stadiums and arenas coast-to-coast with recent stops including CHS Field in Minneapolis, T-Mobile Park in Seattle, and will also stop at Soldier Field in Chicago this October, making it one of the most admired food festivals in the country.
With this unique all-inclusive offer, indulge in bacon of all forms, from salty to sweet to savory, in an experience like never before. But bacon isn’t the only treat to look forward to. Guests will be invited to snap selfies in a Hormel Black Label Bacon photo booth, compete in a bacon eating contest with a chance to win a year’s supply of Hormel Black Label Bacon, play flip cup, ride a bacon seesaw and take home a commemorative souvenir tasting glass.
Guests can choose from three ticket types: General Admission ($49), Power Hour ($69), or VIP ($89). Merch will be available for purchase on site, including brand new t-shirt and hat designs.
