Where To Score Negroni Week Specials in NJ

Negroni Week NJ

Negroni Week begins today. The initiative began in 2013 with the dual purpose of promoting Negroni sales and supporting charitable organizations. Annually, hundreds of restaurants join in Negroni Week, which has amassed millions of dollars in donations up to this point. During this special week, participating eateries and bars will present a menu showcasing the timeless Negroni alongside creative variations of this beloved and bitter aperitif.

But, what is a Negroni and where can you score Negroni Week specials in NJ?

What Is a Negroni?

The Negroni is one of humankind’s greatest contributions to cocktails. The simple, yet complex stirred cocktail is traditionally composed of three ingredients, all in equal parts: Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

The cocktail is best enjoyed before a large meal and has sparked inspiration for thousands of riffs on the classic, including the White Negroni, the Enzoni and the Kingston Negroni.

Once again, Negroni Week will benefit Slow Food—a grassroots effort involving local communities and passionate activists in over 160 countries that is dedicated to reshaping the world through the realms of food and beverages. Slow Food seamlessly merges the pleasure of culinary experiences with the quest for fairness, accomplishing this by imparting knowledge about the significance of cultural and biological diversity, promoting equitable food policies, and advocating for justice.
