Have you ever taken a selfie worth $5,000 in prizes?
Fender, S.T. Dupont, and Davidoff Geneva have teamed-up for a Win The Window contest. The rules are simple: visit any Davidoff location in Manhattan, take a selfie in front of their window display, and post it to Twitter or Instagram at #FenderAtDavidoff.
S.T. Dupont is the French maker of exquisite pens, lighters, leather goods, and accessories. And by ‘exquisite’ we mean the micro-engineered, state-of-the-art quality you’d expect of a $700 Gatsby lighter. So to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Fender, the legendary guitar company (think Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, etc.), Dupont has perfected its own take on traditional Chinese lacquering, using this process to give its pens and lighters the iconic sunburst patina that identifies every Fender guitar we can think of.
Davidoff Geneva, a Swiss tobacconist shop, is one of only a handful of retailers in Manhattan licensed to carry S.T. Dupont products. Davidoff is where you’d expect to find a Vanderbilt buying a $500 cigar; they’ve been in business since 1911, and are renowned for their handmade, luxury tobacco products. The legendary Zino Davidoff is also credited for having invented the first table-top humidor.
Now that we’re all familiar with the companies involved, here’s the actual prizes for the #FenderAtDavidoff Win The Window contest(the winner wins everything in the window display):
- A Fender Stratocaster with a guitar stand and case
- Two lighters from the S.T. Dupont Fender Collection
- Two S.T. Dupont Fender Collection pens
- One Dupont Fender wallet
- A Dupont Fender briefcase
- A Dupont Fender weekend bag
- One set of Dupont’s Fender cufflinks — think platinum guitar picks
The total after-retail-value of the winnings is $4,995.
You have until April 30th!

(Note: while adorable, we’re pretty sure only people can claim the winnings.)
And, just in case you were wondering, here’s S.T. Dupont CEO Alain Crevet playing a Fender at the 2016 GQ Man of The Year party. Crevet, it turns out, is big on rock n’ roll — Dupont also has an epic Rolling Stones collection.
