New Jersey Wine & Food Festival Returns for 2025

Each year, Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ hosts the revered New Jersey Wine & Food Festival, featuring dozens of renowned chefs, industry leaders and an array of events for curious diners to explore. This year is shaping up to be the best one yet.

The festival kicks off on May 2 and runs to May 4. Here’s everything you need to know.

Guest of Honor: Chef Francis Mallmann

The New Jersey Wine & Food Festival will feature Chef Francis Mallmann as the Guest of Honor this year. Mallmann is best known for his culinary stardom throughout the Spanish-speaking world, with his own show on the Argentina Gourmet Channel, a Chef’s Table (Netflix) feature and authoring renowned books such as Grilling the Argentine Way and Mallmann on Fire, which helped to popularize live fire cookery.

Mallmann owns nine restaurants across South America, the US and France. 

He will lead the Chef’s Garden Dinner with Francis Mallmann and A Culinary Journey with Francis Mallmann.

Francis Mallmann Dinner

Showcasing Mallmann’s signature open-flame cooking paired with wines from Bodegas Escorihuela Gascon.

Top Chefs & Top Wines Dinner

A collaboration between Resort Executive Chef Aishling Stevens, the Restaurant Latour team, and three Top Chef contestants from Season 21: Savannah Miller, Soo Ahn, and Michelle Wallace.

Cabaret and Cocktails

A cabaret paired alongside an exclusive cocktail competition. Plus, a raw bar and other spreads of food. 

New Jersey Wine & Food Festival Breakdown: Saturday, May 3

The Art of Honey

Showcasing Crystal Springs’ success in providing habitats for the declining bee population. The event will feature local honey tasting paired with a dish from Restaurant Latour and a glass of wine from Far Niente.

Cristalino & Caviar

Combine the luxury of briny caviar with an unlikely companion: tequila. That’s right, this must-try combination of Cristalino tequila and caviar is bound to impress. Guests will sample three different types of tequila during the tasting

The Perfect Gin Cocktail with Hendrick’s

An interactive cocktail class featuring one of the world’s most renowned gins. 

Hats Off to Agave Spirits

An exploration of agave spirits from tequila to mezcal.

Legends of Winemaking

A tasting and seminar led by Master Sommelier Larry Stone, marking 10 years of Lingua Franca winery in Oregon.

Brugal Chocolate Experience

Pairing Brugal 1888 Rum with a selection of fine chocolates. 

Secrets of the Sommeliers & Cellar Tasting

Held at the resort’s Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning Wine Cellar, this event will take guests through a tasting highlighted by a bounty of rare wines.

The Grand Tasting

Featuring 30 of New Jersey’s top chefs, along with 200+ wines and spirits, The Grand Tasting is the staple event at New Jersey Wine & Food Festival.

The NJ Food Event of the Year

This year, dozens of renowned NJ chefs will be in attendance. Some notable names include AJ Capella of Summit House, Aishling A. Stevens of Crystal Springs, David Burke (multiple restaurants), Antonio De Ieso of Fiorentini, Alex Magloire of Strickland’s Steakhouse, Daniel Brunina of Ryland Inn, Nick DeRosa of Black Sheep Bar & Provisions and many more.
