What is Bottomless Brunch?

For those who are new to bottomless brunch, it’s important to note that the definition of “bottomless brunch” varies between restaurants and cafes. Generally, there is a set price for certain courses and cocktails. The set price can come with unlimited alcoholic drinks or a specific limit with discounts on extra beverages purchased. Sometimes, there is a set time for the length of your meal as well which can range from 90 minutes to two hours.

This guide will outline the specific deals at each Northern New Jersey eatery and highlight how to strategically plan for your perfect Sunday bottomless brunch.

Bottomless Brunch Advice and Etiquette

Here is some advice on tackling bottomless brunch the right way.

Make a Reservation & Get There On Time

First and foremost, make a reservation. Bottomless brunch is popping this summer, so you’ll want to make sure you have a table instead of fighting a hungry crowd at the door. Most importantly, get to your reservation on time! The last thing you want is to lose your table. Being prompt to brunch will also help avoid the feared angry hostess.

Don’t Make Plans for Afterward

While you may want to make plans afterward to hang out with your brunch buddies or take a late afternoon day trip, don’t do it. After having all you can eat and drink during brunch, all you’ll want to do is lay low and veg out on your couch.

Choose Your Meal Wisely

When picking your alcoholic poison, also consider your main dish. Choose a meal that is going to pair well with whatever you’re drinking. Bottomless brunch is all about indulging and treating yourself, so don’t worry over selecting the healthiest choice on the menu.

Keep Time in Mind

Remember that lots of bottomless brunch sessions are timed! Keep in mind how much time you have and pace your brunch accordingly.
