Relax at Home with Soothe Massage

If you live in New York (or anywhere in the U.S.), it’s safe to say that you’re stressed out. Between work, family, and personal lives, most people find that there is little time left in the day (or week, or month) for themselves. Even when time is found, it’s usually spent cooking, cleaning, running errands, or sitting at appointments. Wouldn’t it be nice to destress in the comfort of your own home with a massage, the ultimate form of relaxation? That’s where Soothe Massage comes in.

Soothe was founded in 2013 by Merlin Kauffman, who founded the company while attending Harvard Business School. Whenever he traveled, he realized it was difficult to schedule a massage appointment outside of standard business hours and locations. And so, Kauffman created the company based around clients busy schedules, offering Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal and Couples massages. Clients can book licensed and background checked therapists to come to their homes, hotels, or even their offices for 60, 90, or 120 minutes.

With easy access either through their website or smartphone app, clients can schedule Soothe appointments in advance, or can book and have massage therapists show up to their location within an hour. They are also available seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. – midnight, including holidays. The company is in 27 major cities, from New York City and Miami to Seattle and Los Angeles, and have plans to expand to 20 more cities by the end of 2016.

The company also takes the stress out of pricing, with set prices for different states and gratuity included. New Jersey prices are 60 minutes – $109, 90 minutes – $149, and 120 minutes – $179, with some cities starting at $99. Therapists will also come with fresh linens in case you are away from home, but they are more than happy to use yours, too. So next time you’re feeling extra stressed and your schedule is too tied up to get to the spa, have the spa come to you. Relax, you deserve it.
