Let me tell you about a new oasis I have discovered at my fitness center in Jersey City. Yes, you read that correctly — an oasis at the gym.
Ok, so I am an avid massage-goer and probably have 20 to 30 each year. Recently, Base Gym, located right in downtown Jersey City, opened an extension of their club called Base Body. Lets me just say this one thing — hooked! I have never had a massage quite like this before. Perhaps it was the ambience, or the fact that it was right after an intense work out, or because the therapists they hire are the most experienced I’ve ever encountered. But here’s the kicker: the massage is $49.99 for an hour!
And, if you aren’t a Base Gym member, you have access to the entire health club before and after your workout. Oh, and they validate 2 hours of parking in the building. I will leave you with this one very important note: go and check this place out immediately while it’s still under the radar. You won’t leave with out making second appointment.
