This Saturday, June 22, Montclair has a special event in store to help kick off the summer in style.
We’re talking four stages of live music (adding up to 8+ hours of non-stop music), some of NJ’s favorite foods and refreshing beverages to boot. The best part? The Summer Solstice at Lackawanna Plaza is FREE to enter.
Food from Pineapple Express Barbecue (the event’s host), Brick and Dough, and Perla Oyster Bar will be available for attendees to purchase. Additionally, Kohler Distributing Co. will provide beers and beverages to help break the summer heat.
Live music is the true draw of the event, featuring over a dozen acts and four stages—both indoors and outdoors. Notable music guests include The Defending Champions, Slippery People, Cosmic Jerry Band and Uncle Ebenezer – a Tribute to Phish.
Where?
The Summer Solstice will be held in the Lackawanna Plaza parking lot, which will be closed off to cars for the day. The Grove Street lot across the road is available to park.
When?
Pineapple Express Barbecue is holding the Summer Solstice on June 22 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. That’s a full day of food, music and drinks.
With a dozen acts, tasty bites and a $0 cover fee, the Summer Solstice at Lackawanna Plaza is shaping up to be the event of the summer.
