When the holiday season rolls around, Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm in Belvidere, NJ likes to put a colorful twist on tradition.

The farm has been family-owned and operated since 1839. Over the years, it has earned many awards and accolades—specifically for its Christmas trees, which Wyckoff’s started growing in 1958.

Today, it remains as New Jersey’s original colored tree farm where visitors can find various hues from pink, purple and blue to turquoise, magenta, red, black or white.

The trees themselves are real. However, they have a specialty colorant that’s been applied to them.

In addition to colored trees, Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm also boasts cut-your-own options as well as fresh-cut trees to choose from in all shapes and sizes. Visitors can find wreaths, grave blankets, greenery, ornaments and more inside their Christmas Barn.

This year, they’ll also be offering a patch of large, specialty trees. There are Fraser Fir and Canaan Fir Christmas trees up to 11 feet tall.

“Through years of training, and a lot of patience, we are proud to offer these gorgeous (and huge) trees along with our regular sized trees, colored trees, and tabletop trees this year. Numbers are limited, and these trees will have specially marked pricing.”

Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm officially opened for the 2023 season. Weekend hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while weekdays are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Remember that peak hours are on the weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
