From outdoor concerts and state fairs, it looks like summer is officially back on in the Garden State. So naturally, we were pretty excited to hear about the return of the Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival. This plant-based food festival presented by The Vegan Local will kick off on Saturday, July 17 and end on Sunday, July 18. It will be the organization’s first in-person event in a year and a half.
About The 2021 Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival
The Vendors
Currently, there are an estimated 100 vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free vendors signed on to participate. Some of which include NJ-based businesses such as Lexi’s Kitchen, Tony Boloney’s, Sweet Trail Bakery and Cake That Sandwich Co. to name a few. There will also be beverages from Jersey City’s BuchaBae and Hoboken’s Vibal Energy Tea. Other participating vendors will hail from the tri-state area and beyond.
The Venue and Lineup of Events
Festivities at the Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival will begin at 12 p.m. on July 17. The event will be held on the Atlantic City boardwalk between the Showboat Hotel and Ocean Casino Resort. In addition to food, there will also be live music, cocktails and plant-based clothing and sustainable products for sale. A vegan book swap is also expected to take place.
“All vegans, vegetarians, veg-curious folks and friends of all kinds are welcome to join us on the boardwalk and the sand outside The Showboat for the @njvegfest to make its grand come back!,” the organization said on Instagram.
