A Guide to New Jersey’s Best Brunch Spots (2026 Updated List)

Kelly Coffey

Who doesn’t love brunch? Chatting with close friends over a hot cup of coffee, munching on delicious food. I think we can all agree, it’s the perfect weekend outing. Plus, we can enjoy a cocktail at 10 a.m. without any judgment! While New Jersey may not have invented brunch (we can thank England for that), it is still filled with unique, must-try spots. We’re talking from Jersey City to Cherry Hill and everywhere in between. Whether you are looking for a traditional Eggs Benedict or are craving a club sandwich, here are our favorite spots for the best brunch in New Jersey in 2025.

North Jersey

The Corner – Montclair

The Corner is a no-brainer when you are looking for a fun brunch spot. From their fresh-pressed juices and expertly-crafted coffees, to breakfast classics and a remarkable burger, The Corner should be on your list the next time you’re seeking out brunch.

The Corner is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Get there early, tables fill up!

The St. Clair – Montclair

Chef Leia Gaccione’s The St. Clair offers a seriously good brunch menu, featuring the likes of duck fat tater tots, chorizo egg sandwiches, breakfast tostadas, and fluffy brioche French toast with vanilla mascarpone, orange custard, and kumquats. Beyond brunch, we named The St. Clair one of NJ’s best restaurants last year.

Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Anthony David’s – Hoboken

Using seasonal, local ingredients and big, bold flavors, Anthony David’s offers one-of-a-kind items, making this cozy corner restaurant in Hoboken perfect for your next brunch outing. The best part is that new items are constantly hitting the menu, so you’ll be able to try something different every time you visit!

Brunch is served seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Graze Brunch Kitchen – Ho-Ho-Hokus

With a name that literally includes “brunch kitchen,” you know the brunch options are off the charts. Graze brings favorites like eggs in purgatory, Grand Marnier pancakes and salted caramel French toast to Ho-Ho-Kus. It’s one of North Jersey’s tastiest and most diverse brunch options.

Raymond’s Restaurant – Montclair and Ridgewood

Located in downtown Montclair and the main square in Ridgewood, this is a fan-favorite spot for the perfect breakfast or lunch. Avocado toast, omelets, chili, salads, tacos… we could go on and on because this brunch menu has a little of everything.

At Raymond’s, brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Meet Me at Madison’s – Montclair, NJ

Meet Me at Madison’s is the spot in Montclair for Latin-style brunch. Along with a stacked dinner menu, Madison’s offers a delectable brunch. You can expect to find everything from chicken and waffles to tamale platters and brisket sandwiches. Toast – Asbury Park, Manalapan, and Red Bank

Known for its catchphrase, “peace, love, and pancakes,” this adorable café spot offers bright decor, a comfortable atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. You can try the classics, such as Eggs Benedict, or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous, we recommend building your own burger! Either way, we promise this will be your new go-to brunch spot.

Bonus for North Jerseyans, Toast also has locations in Montclair and Cranford.

Chat & Nibble – Asbury Park

Serving the community of Asbury Park since 1984, this cute and quiet café offers traditional American breakfast and lunch items. Each and every year, Chat & Nibble updates its menu to coincide with the current food trends and to keep its customers happy.

Cardinal Provisions is the moment. Since opening their doors, this Asbury Park staple has been dishing out some of the best brunch in all of New Jersey. What’s more is a case filled with fresh-baked pastries and a coffee menu that is reason enough to make a visit.

The Buttered Biscuit – Bradley Beach

Hooking people from the start with their name, The Buttered Biscuit serves comfort food with a New American twist. The crave-worthy breakfast and lunch items will not disappoint, especially the namesake biscuits. (Fair warning, they are addictive!)

Pirate’s Den – Brigantine

Brunch is good enough, but how about brunch with a view? At Pirate’s Den you can enjoy breakfast and lunch classics with the breeze of the ocean as an added bonus. Lobster quesadillas, omelettes—there isn’t a bad option, but if you’re looking to indulge in some true decadence, try the croissant French toast. Being born and raised in Monmouth County, she loves exploring what the Garden State has to offer. She can often be found checking out the local NJ wineries, sipping on a vanilla latte from the local coffee shop, or seeing the latest blockbuster film at the theaters.
