The Engel & Völkers real estate team has recently announced that Lisa Troyano-Ascolese, an award-winning and highly experienced New Jersey real estate professional, will now serve as the sole owner, license partner, and broker of record for the brand’s Hoboken location. Troyano-Ascolese takes on the role formerly held by her mentor, the late Nicholas Costantino, who along with his partner oversaw the expansion of Empire Realty into Engel & Völkers Hoboken in 2015 before his passing in 2016. The real estate group will continue to service home buyers and sellers in the areas of Hoboken, Jersey City, New Jersey’s Gold Coast and Bergen County.

Troyano-Ascolese, who also leads the myHOMEboken Real Estate Team, will be launching the Engel & Völkers Hoboken location with a select group of experienced real estate advisors, along with a calculated talent attraction plan that will grow to hire new advisors for the shop. Among heated competition in her market, Troyano-Ascolese has cultivated a unique value proposition during her career as an Engel & Völkers advisor.

“Good people are the heart of any successful organization,” said Troyano-Ascolese. “I only want professionals with positive energy alongside me as we grow, and luckily, we can be selective at this time. We don’t want to be the agency with the most agents or transactions—we want to be known as true real estate advisors. My goal as the new owner of Engel & Völkers Hoboken is to focus on what is most important and that is servicing our clients at the highest level through their own personal real estate journeys. Aligning with Engel & Völkers affords our clients unique exposure through the network’s unparalleled ability to reach both the local and overseas buyer. There is truly nothing else like it in the industry, and as we see our luxury market begin to soften and overseas interest increase year over year, it’s a tremendous advantage to be able to offer our sellers.”

Anthony Hitt, president and CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas notes “Hoboken and the surrounding areas represent an extremely important market for our Americas presence,” he continues to share “In Lisa’s previous role as an Engel & Völkers advisor, I have witnessed her business acumen, real estate expertise and ability to attract other skilled industry professionals first hand, and I am thrilled with her decision to now become a license partner. As the Hoboken market continues to grow and attract residents from around the world, I can’t wait to see how Lisa will elevate our presence here to new heights.”

The new Engel & Völkers Hoboken storefront location in the city’s refined Uptown neighborhood at 1321 Washington Street, settled among some of the area’s best restaurants, doorman-operated buildings and the most efficient transportation to New York City. The real estate of the area is often characterized by a healthy mix of condominiums and brownstones, with multiple single and multi-family properties scattered throughout. The locational housing market is also seeing an upward trend in residential high-rise construction projects with irresistible amenity packages that blow the cross-river options at comparable price points out of the water.

Engel & Völkers operates a global network of over 11,000 real estate professionals in more than 30 countries. Committed to exceptional service, Engel & Völkers supports its advisors with an array of premium quality business services; marketing programs and platforms; as well as access to its global network of real estate professionals, property listings and market data. Each brokerage is independently owned and operated. For more information, visit https://hoboken.evrealestate.com/.
