Uranus loves to cause commotion among the stars and in our lives. For approximately five months out of the year this radical planet goes retrograde, and we get a chance to calm our inner chaos. This period of time is best used for personal progress because when outer planets like Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are in retrograde, their larger-than-life energies are somewhat suppressed. But this isn’t your typical retrograde because this year, Uranus will remain quite active during its backward trek.

Uranus stations retrograde on August 24 and will go direct on January 22, 2023. During this journey, the planet will move from 18° to 14° of steady Taurus. This 4-degree span puts the planet in the middle of the cosmic action for the remainder of the year.
