Hermes Just Released Their First Ever Perfume for Kids

Hermès has just launched its first perfume for kids. The product is called Cabriole Hermès and was released on the first of October. This floral fragrance was created by Hermès’ in-house perfumer Christina Nagel. She is a talented perfumer from Switzerland. Some of her bigger successes include Narcis Rodriguez and Miss Dior Chérie. Nagel has worked for Jo Malone London and received several awards throughout her career.

Cabriole Hermès mixes the floral scent of osmanthus with the freshness of honeysuckle. At its base, it features the timeless fragrance of sandalwood, perfume website heyscent.com tells us. Its name, ‘Cabriole’ is a French word, referring to a ballet jump. With this fragrance, Hermès wants to remind us of the innocence and genuine times of our childhood. A carefree time when days were spent in endless games and silly pranks. Cabriole Hermès is a unisex scent and is suitable for kids from three years old.

Christina Nagel wanted to design a delicate fragrance ideal for the skin of kids. She, therefore, chose to use the lightest concentration of Eau de Senteur. Cabriole Hermès also features a non-alcoholic water base.

The bottle has a simple design and an illustration recalling Hermès Cabriole Round Bib. This is not by chance as the two products are also linked by their name. On both of them, Hermès decided to opt for a child riding a white unicorn. The illustrations were created by Alice Charbin. She is one of Hermès’ official creators and authors of several children’s books.

Concerning Cabriole Hermès, Christina Nagel stated: “I sought to create a comforting and highly distinctive scented water that signifies the bond between parent and child. I wanted to make a digression, a joyful leap towards a new proposal. Deliberately moving away from orange blossom, I used osmanthus and honeysuckle to express in a different way the great fondness I feel for childhood, a time of fearless experimentation and insatiable curiosity. This eau de senteur is an invitation to prolong this state of mind, made of play and freedom, for as long as possible.”

Cabriole Hermès is now available on the brand’s official website. The bottle contains 50 ml of product and costs 110 euros. The fragrance can also be found at the many boutiques of the brand
