Nightlife In New Jersey

by Staff

If there’s one thing that you could say about New Jersey and its nightlife, it’s that it’s plentiful. There is so much to see and do in the state it’s unreal. It makes it the perfect place for people to visit because there is something for everyone, and this is a driving force behind its continued popularity.

Watch the sunset

We’re going to tell you about the nightlife in New Jersey in a structured fashion, as it’s something people can follow, and it will ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy. Starting with watching the sun go down over Sunset Lake. This is where the night begins, and it’s often an event in itself, with entertainment regularly available to take in when in the Bridgeton area.

Enjoy Some Live Music

Now, when you visit a place like New Jersey, you’re going to want to check out the iconic venues the state has to offer. Stone Pony, a hub for live music, fits this billing. It opened its doors in 1973 and has been integral in launching the careers of the likes of Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. So, if live music and alcohol are your thing, you can’t afford to miss out.

Game at the casinos

At this juncture, it will really come down to the individual, but we highly recommend people visit one of the many casinos in New Jersey. There are some excellent establishments to choose from, with the Ocean casino resort and Golden Nugget two fantastic venues. It may not strictly be Sin City, but punters will be able to play all the same Vegas slots both online and offline at legalized sites, and this covers over half the casinos in the state.

Hit the nightclubs

Another option you could combine with gaming at casinos is to head to New Jersey’s Atlantic City and hit the nightclubs. Many people who have visited the state before will tell you that the nightlife can be wild, and this is where it really comes alive. For example, there is the infamous The Pool After Dark, where there is a nightclub banging out EDM with a swimming pool inside. But, in general, the clubs cater to everyone’s needs in terms of style of music.

Stroll along a boardwalk

Is there anything better than a late-night or early morning stroll along a boardwalk? In some places, your options are limited. But, in New Jersey, there are eighteen boardwalks in total, with one of the best located in Ocean City. They’re the perfect opportunity to wind down after a busy day or night. And they’re great for families too, which other areas of New Jersey nightlife don’t cater to.

Grab a coffee

It’s probably not recommended to drink coffee late at night. But, if you need your fix, be it to boost yourself ahead of a big night out, then New Jersey is the perfect place to be. There are loads of coffee shops in the area, but there are a couple that stay open as late as 11 pm. They’re a coffeeholic’s paradise, with multiple luxury varieties to choose from.
