Latest Figures Show New Jersey Gambling Revenue Up to New Highs in September 2023

by Staff

eptember saw a big increase in gambling revenue in New Jersey, albeit with land-based formats showing something of a dip. The total revenue generated in the month hit a 7.5% year-on-year increase, with a healthy total of $521.5m being accrued.

The total is way above September 2022 but a little down on last month, and the drop in revenue from physical brick-and-mortar establishments must be something of a concern for the relevant vendors in New Jersey.

Fans of iGaming options, as opposed to visiting the land-based alternative, can make great use of this FanDuel casino promo code to make the most of their online casino offering, with the brand being among the best in the United States.

Of the total revenue, $246 million still came from land-based casinos, down 2.1% from September 2022, while igaming revenue stood at $163.8m, which is a massive 21.1% increase on last year while online slots generated another $161.4m.

The New Jersey online casino field is a crowded one, and one brand that is starting to make a real impression is Tipico, which recently launched its newly redesigned online casino platform in the state.

It’s won over the hearts and minds of players in the state and is quickly establishing itself as one of the leading competitors in the region. Adrian Vella, the US CEO of Tipico, talked up the new-look product in recent comments;

“On the heels of earning a first-place national ranking, we are excited to unveil a completely original experience for customers who desire to play Casino games in New Jersey,”

“Unlike other online casinos that pigeonhole players, our product helps expedite the real money deposit and withdrawal process, providing a safe, secure experience. We are uniquely positioned to make huge leaps in 2024 and beyond with a combination of original and classic content, efficient processing, and our trusted brand heritage.”

Tipico launched in New Jersey in November 2021 and has gone from strength to strength in what is a very competitive market. Part of their ongoing push has seen them wisely team up with White Hat Gaming to help beef up their extensive library of games.

Vella said of the deal;

“We are excited to begin our partnership with WhiteHat Studios, adding their content to our fast-growing proprietary online casino offering”

“With a proven track record in the regulated US market and their well-known catalog of branded games, we’re confident that our customers will love White Hat’s offering.” Vella added.

VP of Sales and Marketing at White Hat Studios, David Lechner, was similarly effusive;

“We’re delighted to partner with Tipico as the company expands in the US casino market. Firmly established as one of the largest and most respected global gaming operators, we can’t wait to see how our titles are received by the Tipico player base. This, along with a number of other deals, keeps on track our aggressive plans for 2022 and the roll-out of White Hat Studios content across North America.”
