There’s nothing we love seeing more than our local community coming together in times of need. Over in Hoboken, plans are moving forward for Dharma Home Suites to donate housing to those impacted by recent events.

This will include temporary housing at 1414 Grand Street (The Novia) for local residents and accommodations for doctors, nurses and first responders. This comes as a partnership between Dharma Home Suites and Pegasus Partners, who hope to either relocate or provide refuge for those affected.

“As #localbusinesses, we’re here to help local residents and visitors to reduce the spread in our neighborhood,” they said in a post on their Instagram page.

“Initially, we will donate 3 furnished apartments for the next 2 weeks for people in need of #emergencyhousing or #socialdistancing. Please note that these units can also be used as an office for anyone in need of additional workspace.”

They announced that in addition to donating housing, they’ll also be offering special rates and discounts on all furnished suites throughout the Jersey City and Hoboken area. All their suites include high-end in-unit appliances, Nest thermostats, floor-to-ceiling windows, Carrara marble and a modern-contemporary design scheme.

“We know it must be hard to be away from your families during this time but we’re here to provide the best #accommodations to make you feel just like home!”
