Somerset County Regional Farmers Market Opens in Somerville

by Staff

A brand-new farmers market is coming to Somerville, New Jersey. Somerset County Regional Farmers Market opens this Sunday, May 5.

Every Sunday, from May 5 to November 24, the Somerset County Regional Farmers Market will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each and every weekend throughout the summer and fall, Somerset County locals will be able to shop an array of local farm stands and vendors.

You can expect to see the likes of local produce, NJ wines, fresh-made empanadas, homemade jams, imported goods and more. The full list of the first week’s vendors will be included below.

The market is set up in the rear parking lot of Somerville Middle School, 51 W. Cliff St., Somerville, NJ.

Keep an eye out for announcements and vendor spotlight at the SCR Farmers Market Instagram.

New Jersey is The Garden State after all, and there are plenty of farmers markets that happen weekly to prove it. Somerset County Farmers Market is a welcome addition to the growing scene (no pun intended) of markets prioritizing local produce, vendors and businesses.
