Jewelry By Peter Opens in Hoboken

Jewelry By Peter, a Bayonne institution, is now also a part of the Hoboken community. You’re invited to the Grand Opening of the second location on Wednesday, June 25, from 12 to 8 p.m. Guests can look forward to a door prize, a trunk show, and cocktails.

The store’s owners, Robyn Kopacz and Cindy Doherty, have been in the jewelry business for over 20 years. They took over for Jewelry By Peter’s original owner in 1986, and since then, the cousins have built a family business that distinguishes itself by having traditional roots mixed with modern sensibility.

It’s a testament to Robyn and Cindy’s ability to move with trends and keep up with industry changes that they decided to open a second location in Hoboken, a city they feel has their same great energy.

“It’s reinventing us in a way,” Robyn says. “We always felt that our style and design fit the Hoboken client.” Their specialized boutique is a mix of fine jewelry and casual designer pieces — silver, gold, eclectic, and traditional. The cases are stocked with items for range of budgets and a range of occasions. You can find a stunning, customized engagement ring, a beautiful pair of birthday earrings, and the trendiest bracelet sweeping the internet, all in one place.

Aside from an impressive inventory, they’ve also brought their expertise to the neighborhood. As diamond specialists and repair experts, the Jewelry By Peter team can maintain or fix beautiful jewelry you already own. They also create custom designs and can replicate designer pieces.

But Robyn and Cindy’s down-to-earth, friendly attitudes alone make it worth a stop in to say hello and browse. Join them in celebrating their latest venture on Wednesday.

P.S. If you pick up any new pieces, be sure to take a pic and hashtag #jewelrybypeter on Instagram.
