What’s Going On This Weekend? Craft Fairs Galore!

by Lauren Scrudato
This weekend is all about local craft fairs! So you’d be a fool not to check out two major craft fair events going on in Hoboken and Jersey City:
Hoboken City Hall Holiday Craft Fair

Sat & Sun, Dec 7th & 8th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., 94 Washington St.

Any gift idea you can imagine will be accessible at the Hoboken City Hall Holiday Craft Fair. See what three floors of jewelry, hand knitted winter accessories, baby clothes, body products, pottery, photography, ornaments, candles, special blend balsamic vinegar, olive oil and chimichurri sauces looks like.

After you check a few people off your gift-giving list, meet Mrs. Clause and get a free face painting on Saturday.

How to get there–

Municipal Garage B – 2nd St. bet. Hudson & River Streets

Municipal Garage D – Hudson Street bet. 2nd & 3rd Streets

Not Yo Mama’s Affairs Craft Fair

Dec. 7th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Boca Grande, 564 Washington Blvd, Jersey City

Not Yo Mama’s Affairs Craft Fair is more of a party than a traditional craft fair.

With a $5 suggested donation to Art House Productions, you’ll be able to get your groove on as you shop to music by DJ Dancing Tony and have a shot at receiving some great raffle prizes from MC Lady Michelle. When you feel yourself starting to crash, fuel up with some drink and food specials.

Oh yeah, and there will be over 30 vendors offering a bunch of high-end handmade goods, including a couple of our favorites who were featured in our shopping guide, Fantastical Fantasies and Cheeseboy Products.

See the full list of vendors here.
